In order to celebrate what the manufacturing sector brings to our region, Mankato-area manufacturers are showcased in the annual South Central Tour of Manufacturing each October.
During this popular annual event, local businesses and manufacturing companies open their doors and provide interactive tours to students, educators, job seekers, and the general public. The tours are free to attend and are similar to the "Parade of Homes" concept where people can stop by participating companies throughout the day and learn about each business and their job opportunities.
This regional collaborative event is a partnership with local manufacturing firms, local chambers of commerce, secondary and post-secondary partners.
