SCSC facilitates the Science and Nature conference, which is designed to expose students in grades 3-6 to a variety of topics and delivers highly educational hands-on sessions. Many forms of science and nature are represented to give students the opportunity to learn how science plays a part in our world, environment, home, space, earth, life and technology. Instruction is innovative, active, and designed by grade level for maximum student learning and participation. 

Local collaborative efforts with universities, community experts, area businesses and volunteers make this conference possible. Our goal is to assist schools in preparing students for high-demand jobs and careers in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields.

The 2024 Science and Nature Conference was held October 22 at Gustavus Adolphus College.
