High-STEP Academy Orientation draws in area students and parents

Approximately 60 students and parents from Waseca, NRHEG, JWP, and St. Clair attended the High-STEP Health Science Academy orientation on September 1, 2021.  The orientation was an opportunity for students and their parents to learn more about the Academy, which provides secondary students with health science coursework and work-based learning experiences, to excite and prepare them for health science and technology careers. During the coming year, High-STEP will partner with South Central College, Waseca Mayo, and the Gustavus Adolphus Nursing Program.
High-STEP teacher Dustin Julius said: "I appreciate all the students and families that were able to attend.  Special thanks to Waseca, South Central College, and Gustavus Adolphus for collaborating and helping provide this amazing opportunity for students!"

High-STEP Health Science Academy is a program of South Central Service Cooperative.
