Racial Justice Series

Racial Justice Series thumbnailSouth Central Service Cooperative, in collaboration with YWCA Mankato, will present a three-part series on racial justice for our service area. These workshops will bring together those who are looking to learn more about race, racism and how they can work toward racial justice. The goal of these workshops is to raise awareness and promote conversation about the negative impact of institutional and structural racism in our communities. Participants from schools, cities, counties, other organizations and all interested individuals are encouraged to attend.

  • Cultural Competency Training – Nov. 14, 2017, 1–3 p.m.
  • It's Time to Talk Workshop – Dec. 12, 2017, 1–3 p.m.
  • Confronting Racism: Minnesota Style – Jan. 23, 2018, 1–3 p.m.

Location: SCSC Conference Center, 2075 Lookout Drive, North Mankato
Cost: $60/person per session or $150/person for the three-part series.
