Looking for a Rewarding Academic Challenge Program for Junior High Students?

United States Academic Decathlon® provides a competition for junior high students called Academic Pentathlon®. In its seventh year, Pentathlon strives to foster a greater respect for knowledge, promotes wholesome inter-school academic competition and further develops student communication skills.

Each student experiences similar challenges of decathlon of rigorous team and individual competition in five events: literature, mathematics, fine arts, science and social science. This year’s curricular theme focuses on In Sickness and in Health: An Exploration of Illness and Wellness. Register a team to participate before Dec. 13 and see how this program can benefit junior high students and create the foundation for a future successful Academic Decathlon team. Curriculum is free the first year with a two-year commitment for new schools.
Visit the MNAP website or the USAD website for more information on Academic Pentathlon.
