OL&LA READ Act Professional Development

This 9-module course is one of the MDE approved professional development options for educators according to Minnesota’s READ Act requirements. Participant outcomes include developing an understanding and ability to apply the learning of The Science of Reading and Structured Literacy.

Cohort Start Date: October 14, 2024 and Cohort Completion Date: May 9, 2025

The three required live training sessions must be attended for successful completion of this course. They will be held virtually at 4pm on 12/11/24, 2/26/25, and 4/30/25.

Optional kick-off and wrap-up sessions will be held virtually at 4pm on 10/16/24 and 5/7/25. These optional sessions will be an opportunity to connect, get an understanding of course expectations, and ask questions as we begin or end the course.

A link for virtual sessions will be emailed approximately 3 days before the first session.
