DESCRIPTION

 
South Central Service Cooperative is proud to offer two Regional Scholastic Chess Tournaments annually, one in the Fall and one in the Spring. This year we are proud to host a state-wide SCA sanctioned merit point tournament in June! These tournaments are one-day events to celebrate kids and chess. Competition is open to students in grades K–12, with USCF-rated and non-rated Scholastic sections available for play. Individual prizes include trophies for first, and medals for second and third place for each competition level.

Get ready for a fantastic day of chess and meet other players from all over the state! This is a non-elimination tournament full of rounds of chess, projects and games during free time, and trophies and prizes for everyone. All players grades K-12 are invited to play in either open or rated play. Register online now.
