Real World 101

Real World 101— NEW Student/Parent Conference

South Central Service Cooperative is sponsoring a NEW student/parent conference—Real World 101. This conference offers students in grades 10–12, and their parents, the opportunity to explore a variety of sessions related to the issues students and parents may face during the transition years post high school. Session topics may include, but are not limited to: building new relationships, managing finances, completing college, work, financial aid, and scholarship applications, encouraging independence, life plans, investing, leisure activities, empty nest syndrome, time management, paternity rights/grandparents rights, etc.

Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN will host this conference on Saturday, April 1st, from 8:30 a.m. –1:30 p.m. Sessions will be presented by area college and high school counselors, lawyers, financial advisors, and community representatives.
