Curriculum Mapper Institute—Mark the Date!

The Minnesota Service Cooperatives, along with nationally-known keynote speaker Susan Udelhofen, are co-hosting a Curriculum Mapping Institute this June in St. Cloud, MN. We encourage you to mark your calendars and register as soon as possible, as we anticipate this will be a very popular conference. Pre-Conference is scheduled for June 28, 2006 followed by the Curriculum Mapper Institute, June 29 & 30, 2006 at the Holiday Inn & Suites, St. Cloud.

This conference offers an opportunity to learn the basics of curriculum mapping, how to create a curriculum map, and most importantly how to use the maps to improve student learning and teacher performance. The conference will feature a combination of keynote addresses and break-out sessions by teachers, administrators, and teacher leaders who are implementing curriculum mapping. Conference participants will learn strategies to:

  • Revise and learn from current maps
  • Implement mapping in both large districts and smaller rural schools
  • Improve assessment strategies
  • Integrate literacy across the curriculum
  • Connect mapping data with Data Retreat results
  • Connect mapping to Surveys of Enacted Curriculum results
  • Create implementation plans to sustain and maintain mapping
