Knowledge Bowl Competition—A Game of Quick Recall!

Junior High Knowledge Bowl

Junior High Knowledge Bowl Competitions began in October 2005. Each team had the opportunity to compete in four regular season meets. Sixty teams competed at MSU Mankato in the Sub-regional meet held on December 20, 2005 . Thirty teams advanced to the Regional meet January 6, 2006 at Rasmussen Business College. Trophies and ribbons were presented to teams in the top six places: 1st: St. Clair, 2nd: Jordan, 3rd: New Prague, 4th: Fairmont, 5th: LeSueur-Henderson, 6th: Sibley East. A team spirit award was presented to St. James Red team and Anthony Sonnek, MN New Country School, received the Best Reader award.

Senior High Knowledge Bowl

Senior High Knowledge Bowl Competitions began in January 2006. Each team has the opportunity to compete in four regular season meets. Eighty-one teams will compete in the Sub-regional meet at MSU Mankato March 17, 2006. The top twenty-seven teams will advance to the Regional meet March 23, 2006. The top five teams will advance to State competition April 25 and 26 at Cragun’s Resort in Brainerd.
