Step to the Beat: 2006 SCSC Fine Arts Conference

The fourth annual Fine Arts Conference was a great success! Students gathered on January 5^th at the beautiful campus of Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato for a day of fun and creativity! Mitzi Robert’s group of energetic performers, “Dance Express” opened the conference demonstrating and instructing students in self expression and the latest dance steps—students loved it—they were a hit!

After an energetic opening session with “Dance Express,” students scurried off to a fun day of clay work, beading, scrap booking, painting, music appreciation and drawing, and more. The conference goal is to spark a light in the student and put them on a life-long path of art appreciation. We are excited to provide this opportunity to students and look forward to the fifth annual event in 2007.
