Center for Academic Excellence What Works? Ask the Students! What is important to students in terms of teaching, motivation, instruction, school culture, environment and school curriculum? 2005 Academic-All Star students tell us, and take part in the What Works? Ask the Students! Survey today! The Center for Academic Excellence would like you to take part in the 10th anniversary online version of the 1995 survey. The aggregated results and a comparison of the 1995 results will be published on our website: www.mncae.org. This opinion survey based on the 1995 What Works? Ask the Students! symposia asks students to identify what works best for students in their formal education. Academic All-Star students are invited to share with us their identification of the supportive factors that help students in school today. Academic All-Stars include both consistent high achievers, as well as students who have made an academic turn-around; their common characteristic of academic excellence will serve both as the basis for a ten-year comparison with the original survey group, and a contemporary example of what students value in their education. Please ask your parents to assist you if necessarythere is an elementary and secondary version of the survey posted on our site: www.mncae.org. The 1995 report is currently available as a PDF file on our CAE website. > Next CAE Article: Gathering of ChampionsNominate Your Outstanding Students for 2006 |
