SCSC Announces New Board Members for 2006

South Central Service Cooperative is proud to announce the appointment of two new members, James Spille and Mark Brandt, to its Board of Directors.

A resident of Norwood Young America, James Spille desires to be more involved in the background and structure of the education system. As a retired teacher and with his experience and personal history, he would like to dedicate his time and knowledge to the board duties. James has also served on the school board for two years and also on legislative background committees.

Having been a school board member of Sibley East for eleven years, Mark Brandt, a farmer and lead operator HCP, has been a part of many programs the South Central Cooperative Board has been involved with. Mark’s objectives are to bring local ideas to the board, and to work collaboratively with other members of the board to continue and improve programs already in place. A resident of Gaylord, Mark also looks to research new offerings the SCSC Board may become involved with to help all associated entities. In addition to his extensive work on the Sibley East school board, Mark has served as a delegate to the MSBA Delegate Assembly for five years, and also on Community Education, ECFE, Faculty Negotiation, FFA Advisory, Facilities, Transportation, and Title IX committees.

South Central Service Cooperative is proud to have these individuals bring additional community representation to SCSC and broaden the perspective, knowledge and experience on the SCSC board.
