Spelling Bee

Regional Spelling Bee – February 22, 2005

South Central Technical College is the site of the Regional Spelling Bee February 22, 2005, from 5:30-8:00 pm, with registration starting at 5 pm. The Free Press of Mankato is sponsoring this event for the third consecutive year, and reminds all district champions that they are eligible to participate if they were registered by the deadline.

One lucky winner will travel to Washington D.C., and participate in the Scripps Howard National Spelling Bee to be held May 31–June 2, 2005. The champion and one adult escort will receive an all-expense paid to the Scripps Howard National Spelling Bee.
