“Exploring Arts through the Ages” – Fine Arts Conference

Bethany Lutheran College hosted the third annual Fine Arts Conference January 5th & 6th, 2005. Pat Ryan, accomplished writer, play-write, and educator, kicked-off the conference with a keynote titled “Exploring Arts through the Ages.” His interactive presentation delighted hundreds of students and set the stage for a day of inspiration, imagination, and creativity, as students traveled between three breakout sessions of their choice to learn about clay work, painting, drawing, juggling, dancing and more.

The goal of this conference is to spark a light in the student and put them on a life-long path of art appreciation—and the conference was a great success! We extend our gratitude and thanks to Bethany Lutheran College for opening their beautiful campus to students so they could experience this unique, hands-on learning opportunity in the fine arts. We, at South Central Service Cooperative, are excited to provide this opportunity to students and are looking forward to the fourth annual event next year.
