Cooperative Purchasing

Coming Soon–Contract Pricing in Retail Stores!

It happens a lot—someone can’t wait for toner, you’re short on binders for an evening presentation, it’s an emergency, a weekend. You drive to an office supply store to get these supplies, and pay an average of 18% more by purchasing off-contract.

With the merger of Boise Office Solutions and OfficeMax, there’s now an easy and reliable way for staff to buy supplies, when they need them, at negotiated contract pricing. New for 2005, members will be able to shop at any OfficeMax retail store and access the bid pricing through the Minnesota Service Cooperative’s contract—offering additional savings and convenience for you!

The advantages:
Recover substantial contract savings lost to off-contract retail purchases
Cover your weekend and emergency supply needs
Receive contract pricing on the spot, displayed at the register
Ability to track total retail spend, for future planning
Pay through your normal invoicing process on your retail purchases when using the OfficeMax Retail Connect Card
The Retail Connect Card uses best-price logic, so if a store promotion is less than the regular contracted price, customers receive Best Pricing!

Watch for the application and additional information on the Retail Connect Card, which was mailed out by the Service Cooperative in January. Also, new catalogs and requisition forms will be coming your way in early February. OfficeMax is excited to be a partner of the Minnesota Service Cooperatives. The Retail Connect Card is just one more way to offer value to your members. To learn more about this contract, please contact your Cooperative Purchasing Department, Cindy Ehlers at 507-389-5109, or your local OfficeMax Educational Sales Associate, Sue Peters at sue.peters@officemax.com or 800-839-8988, Ext 5922.
