SOUTH CENTRAL SERVICE COOPERATIVE

New Partnerships Provide Opportunity for SCSC Members

“Quality through Cooperation Since 1976” continues to be the predominant theme at South Central Service Cooperative (SCSC) as we search for and engage in collaborative new partnerships to provide our members with the best quality programs and services available. As a regional delivery system for school districts, governmental agencies and non-profits in Minnesota, SCSC focuses our efforts on the needs of our members.

In an effort to address continuing education and personal advancement, SCSC has recently partnered with Walden University for online degree program opportunities and Knowledge Delivery Systems for educationally sound online professional development resources.

Through the Cooperative Purchasing program, which engages in quantity purchasing for competitive pricing on supplies and equipment, partnerships were recently formed with Tierney Brothers, Inc. providers of SMART interactive whiteboards and accessories, audio and visual products and electronics and BG Innovations, vendor for Interwrite™ interactive whiteboards and accessories for the classroom and office. SCSC is also introducing a “Green Cleaning Program” for organizations who are exploring “going green” by focusing on sustainability and environmental needs through their request and partner efforts with Green Seal™ certified product vendors.

Most of the products and services provided by South Central Service Cooperative for our members are the result of cooperation and collaborative efforts. This issue of the Cooperative Link will feature the new partnerships referenced above. Many other collaborative efforts are evidenced in articles throughout the newsletter.
