Wet and Wild and a lot of Fun!

South Central Service Cooperative and Region 9 Low Incidence Project sponsored a Wet and Wild swimming day for children with vision impairments, children on the autism spectrum, and their families on February 9 at the Lake Crystal Area Recreation Center. The weather was blustery and reached almost blizzard conditions which meant that most families were unable to get there. Six brave families attended as did four staff members and it turned into a great time.

However, because so many did not come, we are rescheduling the event for March 8. So, once again, call Loree Brown at 389-1425 to say that you are coming. Bring sandwiches for your family and we will provide juice, chips and cookies. It is a great facility and a fun time for kids and adults.
