Greater Mankato Career Expo Scheduled for May 2, 2007

“Greater Mankato Career Expo: A Community of Opportunity” will be held May 2, 2007 for area sophomores —Mankato Public Schools in the morning and 13 regional schools in the afternoon. This event is brought to students by the Mankato Area Public Schools and Greater Mankato Chamber of Commerce’s Career Education Program and the help of over 200 community volunteers!

This year students will experience:

• An interactive career fair with exhibits representing all 16 career clusters and over 200 Greater Mankato Business/Community Volunteers who will show and tell about their careers.

• A breakout session titled “The Roadmap to Success.”

• Participation in a live, interactive career game show, where students will be asked topics of importance for their futures.
