LTD Renewal Approved by SCSC Board

The Service Cooperative Board of Directors approved a Health Insurance Renewal package for fifty School Districts at their April meeting with record low increases. The Board was pleasantly surprised that the results of its RFP process enabled them to provide these School Districts with an average health insurance rate increase of 5.7%. The School Districts Health Insurance is provided through a voluntary insurance pool, managed by the Cooperative. The increases for the School Districts ranged from 3% to 8.5%, with the average at 5.7%. All districts received increases below insurance trend lines. Service Cooperative members expressed appreciation that their voluntary insurance pool was continuing to work to their advantage.
