Camp Connections 2007 at Jack McGowan’s Farm

For High Functioning Autism/Asperger’s Students in Region 9

The 3rd annual Camp Connections will be held at the Jack McGowan farm on June 13–15. The past two years this unique and fun camp was held at Camp Patterson on Lake Washington. This day camp is for high functioning Autism/Asperger’s students in Region 9 entering third grade through the ninth grade. The three-day camp experience will provide structured opportunities in an outdoor environment. The campers will have MSU students assist as “Buddies” while they connect with new and familiar friends, explore the farm, listen to stories, and enjoy a special appearance by Larry’s Lizards. Parents are welcome to come on day three to join their children for closing acts and awards.
