Building and Using Curriculum Maps to Improve Learning

This two or three day conference offers an opportunity to learn the basics of curriculum mapping, and most importantly how to use the maps to improve student learning and teacher performance. The conference will feature a combination of keynote addresses and break-out sessions by teachers, administrators and teacher leaders who are implementing curriculum mapping.

Conference participants will learn strategies to:

  • Enter and modify curriculum mapping data
  • Align to standards
  • Improve assessment methods
  • Integrate literacy across the curriculum
  • Implement mapping in large urban and small rural schools
  • Connect mapping data with data retreat results
  • Create implementation plans to sustain and maintain mapping
