Paraprofessional:
"Caring and Sharing" Fall Paraprofessional Conference
South Central Service Cooperative presents "Caring and Sharing" Paraprofessional Conference to all Paraprofessionals and Title 1 Coordinators. This conference provides a network for paraprofessionals of all levels to share information experiences and meet colleagues facing some of the same challenges and issues.
"Caring and Sharing" provides paraprofessionals an avenue to explore educational experiences by listening to a keynote speaker and attending three breakout sessions during the day.
The conference will be held November 5, 2004, 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Midwest Wireless Center, Mankato.
Topics that have been presented during sessions include: "No Child Left Behind" Legislation, Paraprofessional Competencies, Instructional Skills for Math, English Language Learner, Best Practice Reading, Resources available through the Para Training Project.
Conference fee $70.00 per participant which includes all conference materials, keynote address, admission to three Breakout Sessions, continental breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack.
