Martisko & Hanson Honored at MASA Fall Conference

Les Martisko, Executive Director, South Central Service Cooperative and Harlow “Butch” Hanson, Superintendent, Fairmont Area Schools were honored October 1, 2006 at the annual Minnesota Association of School Administrators (MASA) conference in Brainerd. Les received a 35 Year Administrator Pin and Butch received a 25 Year Administrator Pin recognizing them for their educational leadership, years of service, and dedication to students and learning. Martisko and Hanson were among a group of 37 peers from across Minnesota who earned recognition ranging from 10 to 35 years of service as either an administrator or superintendent.

MASA is a member service organization representing more than 600 educational administrators throughout Minnesota. Members include school superintendents, directors of special education, other central office school administrators, regional administrators, and higher education administrators and professors. As advocates for children, MASA’s mission is to establish the statewide agenda for children, serve as the preeminent voice for public education, and empower members through quality services and support.
