2006 Fall Chess Tournament

We are proud to bring the 2nd Annual Fall Chess Tournament to students grades K–12. Students can enjoy a day of practice, instruction and competition.

RiverBend Academy in Mankato will host the event on Saturday, November 4 at 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The tournament will be divided into rated and unrated tournaments. Only students who are USCF members will be able to participate in the rated tournament. Students will register in one of the four grade categories: K–2, 3–5, 6–8, and 9–12.

The day will conclude with an awards ceremony honoring 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each of the four grade categories rated and unrated tournaments. The first place winners in the unrated tournament will receive a paid membership to the United States Chess Federation.
