Parental Involvement Opportunities

There are exciting things happening with parental involvement, the National Institute on Media and the Family, based in Minneapolis, MN is launching a statewide campaign “Say Yes to No” a community conversation from Mediawise.   • This summer Anne Henderson was here a couple of times to talk about her most resent book “Beyond the Bake Sale, the Essential Guide to Family-School Partnerships.” This is a wonderful researched-based, how-to book with the tools to engage families in their children’s academic success. This would be a great book to use for a book study. http://www.ncpie.org.
