Does your school or district have a comprehensive character education initiative? You can serve as a model for others and receive $20,000 to enhance your program and to help share your practices with other educators. Apply to be recognized as a MN School or District of Character — an application is available at: www.mncae.org. Your school or district may also be eligible to become a National School or District of Character. For more details on the state and national award programs visit: www.character.org/nsoc. The 2008 application deadline is December 3, 2007.
