New for 2005—Science and Nature Camp

From slime to smoke..........plants to polymers and tons of hands on participation in between, this camp is for YOU! The South Central Service Cooperative is sponsoring for the first time a Science & Nature camp designed to interest kids on the wonderment of nature and scientific experimentation.

This camp is for students in grades 1–8 and will be held on Tuesday, October 25 on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. Camp will run from 8:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. and will offer youth an opening session “Fire & Ice” presented by “Mad Science” of Minnesota. After the energetic opening session campers will attend three different breakout sessions on a variety of science & nature topics.

Science & Nature Camp registration materials and complete description of sessions will be mailed to schools in September.
