Letter from the Editor

Fall 2005: a busy time for Minnesotans—the start of another school year and fall harvest—time to reap rewards of the season’s labor.

Take a minute to look at the many ways we can be of service to your organization, and plan ahead to schedule trainings and educational opportunities for you, your staff and students. Please refer to the Calendar of Events listed at the end of this Newsletter and on our website: www.mnscsc.org and to the new Student Academic Outreach Handbook recently mailed to all school districts in our cooperative area. Both the Handbook and Newsletter are posted as PDF’s to our site for your convenience and reference.

Congratulations to Kathy Brynaert for receiving the MRSA Outstanding Service Award—we certainly appreciate the dedication and effort you display to serve the members of South Central Service Cooperative. We invite other members in our service cooperative area to share news of events and happening in their community —send us an article and photo to post in the Cooperative Link.

“Quality through Cooperation” continues to drive our programs and services—please take a moment to read about the many new opportunities available this year—two new student conferences, one new student competition, new seminars, the latest in technology innovations, new cooperative purchasing offerings and increased insurance benefits for our members.

Enjoy fall! South Central Service Cooperative—“Working for you.”
