By Preparing for an Exciting and Promising Career in Health Science!

High-STEP is Health Science & Technology Education Partnership in South Central Minnesota. The High-STEP vision, through leadership from Mankato Area Public Schools and in collaboration with Health Education- Industry Partnership (HEIP), is to develop a dynamic regional partnership between K-12, Post-Secondary Institutions, and Business that will provide secondary students with Health Science coursework and work-based learning experiences. This will excite and prepare them for Health Science Career opportunities in Minnesota.

DID YOU KNOW…

• There is a severe shortage predicted for the next 30 years for Health Science workers in Nursing, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Medical Laboratory, Radiology, and many more that are emerging.
• Many high school students do not take enough math, science, and health courses to ensure success in a college Health Science program.
