As part of ACTE's Business/Education Partnership image campaign media outreach, they have prepared radio and video public service announcement (PSA) that have been sent to radio and television stations around the country. Both PSAs capture the spirit of career and technical education.

The radio PSA is available at the ACTE website: http://www.acteonline.org/news_room/media/radio_psa.cfm . Feel free to alert radio stations in your area that this is available for their use. The PSA is in audio format as well as in script format.

The video PSA is available through the ACTE Resources Catalog and can be viewed at the ACTE website: http://www.acteonline.org/news_room/media/tv_psa.cfm. It can be used for kicking off presentations, show-and-tells, PTA meetings and student discussions. It shows people in different work environments with voice-over narration. It is available in VHS format.

Association for Career and Technical Education is a great resource for technical education teachers and for students interested in a technical career. Download the flyer at right (Acrobat PDF) to promote technical careers in your classroom or visit www.getcareerskills.com for more information.
