Oronoco, MN selects Jason Baker as new City Administrator

The City of Oronoco has selected Jason Baker as its next city administrator.  Oronoco contracted with SCSC Local Government Solutions to administer the executive search.

Baker completed his master’s degree in Administration from the University of South Dakota, with an Organizational Leadership specialization. Baker is actively pursuing his Public Administration Doctorate from Liberty University. He has served as a law enforcement officer for the Sioux Falls Police Department, Turner County Sheriff's Department, South Dakota State University Police Department, and the Alcester Police Department. Baker was also an Adjunct Instructor/Skills Evaluator for the Law Enforcement Training Center in Pierre, South Dakota, and was involved in community service organizations in Brookings, South Dakota. Baker will begin his City of Oronoco duties on March 25, 2024.
